French president details funding for four ‘bioclusters’ and 12 medical training and research centres
The French government has announced the winners of two funding competitions to boost medical research infrastructure and pledged an extra €100 million to existing research centres.
The investments, which were detailed by president Emmanuel Macron on 16 May at the Curie Institute in Paris, are part of the Health Innovation Plan 2030, launched in 2021 and which sets aside €1.7 billion for biomedical research.
