Le Havre gets €73m to expand university capacity

New building announced alongside nearby €1.2 billion next-generation fuels development

The French government has signed off on plans to build a new university building in Le Havre in northern France, expanding its engineering capacity.

The new building will house an expanded training facility for the Le Havre Institute of Technology and facilities for a new École nationale supérieure des arts et métiers engineering school, the government announced on 25 July. About 2,500 students are expected to use the building daily.
