Pole wins German language research prize

A language researcher from Poland has won the German Academic Exchange Service’s (DAAD) €10,000 Grimme Prize for German language research.

Leslaw Cirko, who teaches and researches languages at the German Institute of the University of Wroclaw, was also awarded with a fully funded four-week stay at a German research institute of his choice.
