A government project to provide financial incentives to workers who take up further education will be extended by two years, the government announced on 14 November.
The programme maintains 600 advisory offices for workers who want to return to higher education or start training courses. The government also gives vouchers worth up to €500 to workers who start a further education programme after visiting one of the centres: the vouchers are intended to pay for one term at university or for the cost of evening classes.
