Bavaria plans lifelong learning boost

Bavaria is planning to extend its lifelong learning programme in the hope of improving career chances for local people in full-time work, the Bavarian education ministry announced on 17 August.

The ministry will extend places in high-demand bachelor courses, such as engineering and business studies. It also plans to introduce more part-time master’s courses, which it said are increasingly popular.
