Rectors’ conference elects vice-presidents

The German Rectors’ conference (HRK) elected two vice-presidents during its annual conference in Göttingen last week.

Ulrike Beisiegel, a biochemist and president of the University of Göttingen, will look after the HRK’s higher education management and governance brief. Her colleague, Holger Burckhart, a philosopher and rector of the University of Siegen, will take on the teaching, teacher training and further education brief.
