Cancer research groups start work

A group of three cancer research networks, funded with a total of €9 million, have begun work in February and early March, the German Cancer Research Centre (DKFZ) announced on 5 March.

The research groups will receive the money over the next three years to research the components and capabilities of cancer cells. Together the groups aim to understand the molecular processes leading to the development of cancer.
