Foundation launches international networking prize

The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation is offering €390,000 for universities that want to improve the way they use international alumni to form research networks.

The foundation offers three €130,000 prizes in a competition for ideas to build long-term academic cooperation through alumni, and improve networking between local and international graduates. The competition, which was launched last year, was previously won by the Technical University Aachen, and the Universities of Bayreuth and Heidelberg.
