Geo-data access needs improvement, says study

The German government wants to improve the use and dissemination of data on land use and life quality to improve research into well-being and technology application.

The German research ministry said on 2 April that it has received the results of a study on the use of geo-data, which found that data application could be improved. Geo-data should be taken into account in, for example, selecting the location of wind power stations or airports, the government said.
