German and French university rector organisations are planning to step up networking and collaboration to strengthen higher education cooperation between the two countries.
During a joint conference in Paris on 28 March, members of the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK) met counterparts from the French conference of university presidents, the CPU. The organisations said they want to increase collaboration on university autonomy, course accreditation and university rankings.
