Hesse funds 11 applied research projects

A Hessian science funding programme to boost applied research has distributed €420,000 among 11 projects across the Land, it was announced on 3 April.

The funding is spent through the Hessian “Forschung für die Praxis” (research for application) programme, which has distributed funds annually since its launch in 2009. The projects are based at the Land’s five universities of applied sciences, which differ from traditional universities by focussing on applied and technical research.
