Bavaria funds training to boost STEM graduates

The Bavarian government is to give extra funding to 13 training projects that are trying to reduce the number of university drop-outs in university STEM courses.

The projects involve higher education institutions and organisations of STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) workers. The funding is part of a larger Bavarian government initiative to improve STEM education and encourage young people to take up careers in these fields.
