Science academy offers training for journalists

Germany’s academy of sciences, the Leopoldina and the Robert Bosch Foundation have created a science journalism training scheme.

Both foundations will fund 15 journalists to participate in courses on personalised medicine and genetic technologies, which will run over two years. The journalists will also receive a €3,000 scholarship each to pay for travel costs and for additional research on the subjects.
