Leopoldina links up with Israel

Germany’s Leopoldina science academy has signed a collaboration agreement with the national science academy of Israel.

As part of the deal, agreed on 2 December, more people and information will be exchanged between the Leopoldina and the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities. The partners will also organise joint conferences, seminars and training.

“International collaboration with partner academies is very important for us, because the challenges for which we are trying to find solutions are global and can best be tackled in unison,” said Jörg Hacker, president of the Leopoldina.
