Bavaria’s research minister is travelling to Argentina and Chile in order to boost science collaboration between the German state and South America.
Wolfgang Heubisch will visit his counterparts in Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile during his trip, which lasts from 19 to 26 May. In a statement just before the trip, Heubisch said he wants to create regular contact between scientists in Bavaria and South America.
“Cooperation in science and research is based on trust and personal relations,” Heubisch said. “Therefore we need to intensify contact.”
