A delegation of government and industry representatives from the German state of Saxony has travelled to Abu Dhabi and Qatar with the aim of improving science and business relations.
The group includes Johannes Beermann, the director of Saxony’s presidential office, and Peter Nothnagel, the chief executive of the Saxony Economic Development Corporation. They will meet government representatives from both countries to talk about increasing scientific and technological collaboration.
“We are trying to advertise for the expansion of government relations and lay the foundation for more exciting joint projects,” said Beermann in a statement.
