Karlsruhe tech institute teams up with Chinese partners

The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, a large university of applied research, has instigated two partnerships with Asia.

The KIT will work with several Chinese universities in the Shanghai area to create a centre on innovation and technology transfer in Jiangsu province. The institute will also team up with research institutions in Hong Kong, Japan and the United States to set up a teaching and research centre on communication technologies.

The two projects are part of the KIT’s push to strengthen its presence in Asia, according to a statement issued on 13 February.
