Five German organisations have jointly published a handbook, which aims to shed light on universities’ questions about refugees access to education.
The handbook, published on 24 October, provides information about asylum and residence regulations, admission and enrolment, financial support and support services for people who are traumatised.
It was compiled by the HRK, Germany’s rectors’ association; the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees; the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD); the Deutsches Studentenwerk, a student association; and the KMK, an assembly of state education ministers.
