A compilation of research on climate change in Germany, bringing together the work of 126 authors, has been made freely available online.
Climate Change in Germany, published on 3 November, is an interdisciplinary selection that presents the state of play in climate research and the different positions on the subject. It also includes the content of the fifth assessment report by the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
Announcing the publication, Hermann Lotze-Campen, a climate researcher at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research and editor of the compendium, said that Germany must prioritise the adoption of a credible climate plan for 2050.
