The German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence has announced the launch of a robotics laboratory with sites in Saarbrücken and Prague.
The German site of the MRK 4.0 innovation laboratory, opened on 24 August, has received €1 million for initial technical equipment from Germany’s federal education ministry.
Researchers at the laboratory will focus on the concrete testing and implementation of human-robot collaboration, combining human qualities such as creativity with the high precision and strength of machines.
