Helmholtz seeks to guide young researchers

The Helmholtz Association is setting up career development centres at three of its institutes.

The Helmholtz Career Development Centers for Researchers will aim to support early-career researchers—especially those on short-term contracts—in their career progression and planning, according to a statement the association published on 26 July.

They will be set up at the German Cancer Research Center, the Jülich research centre—which conducts research into grand challenges—and the German Research Center for Environmental Health.
