Ministers from 16 states demand Horizon Europe funding boost and fairer access to EU programmes
The German federal states have called for further development of the European Research Area, a plan to link up scientific activities across the continent.
Ministers from Germany’s 16 federal states presented their demands to the European Commission in a virtual meeting. “We need a strong and visible European Research Area in which the added value of cross-border cooperation in science and research can be realised in the best possible way,” said Bavaria’s science minister, Bernd Sibler.
