German alliance slams Bild article on researchers whose work is used by government
German science organisations are fighting back against what they say is “irresponsible” reporting of how research informs policy in a leading newspaper.
The Alliance of Science Organisations last week published a rebuttal of an article that appeared in Bild. The article was headlined “The lockdown makers”, and suggested that the scientists featured in it bore significant responsibility for the creation of unpopular measures to curb Covid-19 infection rates.
