Leibnitz commits to more transparency

                        

Science should be “as open as possible, as closed as necessary”, says collection of institutes

The Leibniz Association has adopted a new mission statement for open science, promising transparency and more accessibility.

The document, which will be sent to all 97 Leibnitz member institutions to be implemented, is meant to create a more open science culture. However, the association stressed that this was not just an end of itself, but rather a contribution to good scientific practice through more transparency.
