No ethics breach in Bild Covid-19 article, press council rules

Newspaper headline that caused controversy in Germany found to have “factual core”, decision states

The council, a self-governance body on press ethics, has rejected a spate of complaints about an editorial titled ‘The Lockdown Makers’, which was published by tabloid newspaper Bild in December 2021. The article suggested the three scientists bore significant responsibility for coronavirus-related lockdown rules.
