Science advisors want three similar ships to replace existing vessels, but with renewable energy potential
The German Council of Science and Humanities has recommended that the country’s regional research fleet be gradually rebuilt with at least the same capacity as before.
In response to a request from the federal research ministry, the council has produced a report with its recommendations for the future of the marine research service.
