Humboldt professors seek more support for AI research

                    

Monitoring social aspects of progress in this field also important, says report

If the EU cannot match spending on artificial intelligence research seen in the US and China, then Germany should act on its own to fill the gaps, according to a report from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.

Written by a group of Humboldt AI professors—after a meeting in Aachen in September attended by academic and industrial scientists—the report contains seven recommendations on future policy on AI which have been submitted to the federal government.
