Rectors and student bodies back review of BAföG system support
An alliance of 13 organisations has demanded efforts to relieve the financial hardships facing university students in Germany.
The group called on the federal government to significantly increase student aid through the BAföG system and adopt the structural reforms promised in the coalition agreement on the 2024 federal budget.
