Demonstrators in Berlin call on government to keep coalition promise and prevent “system failure”
Scientists and academics joined in protest in Berlin last week, meeting in front of the German science ministry to demand better working conditions and long-term prospects in university careers.
“We are students, PhD candidates, postdocs and professors who have had enough of the precarious working conditions in academia,” the protestors said in a joint statement.
