State provides anti-Semitism contact for universities

North Rhine-Westphalia’s science minister says universities must be “safe places” for Jewish people

The German state of North Rhine-Westphalia has set up a central contact point for people affected by anti-Semitism at its universities.

The aim of the Central Office for Advice and Monitoring of Anti-Semitic Incidents at Universities in North Rhine-Westphalia, located at the University of Münster, is to advise and support victims and witnesses, the state science ministry said in a statement.
