The European Cooperation in Science and Technology association, Cost, has accepted Montenegro as a full member.
The announcement was made during a two-day meeting held in Stockholm on 12 and 13 May.
According to a statement issued by Cost, Montenegro had already been participating in a number of activities organised by Cost, especially in the areas of forestry, ICT, food and agriculture.
