A group led by the European Science Foundation has received €1 million from Horizon 2020 to promote links between the EU’s two billion-euro Flagship initiatives.
The SCOPE project is intended to promote a “partnering environment” between the Graphene Flagship and the Human Brain Project, according to the European Commission.
The flagship initiatives pledged as much as €500 million from Horizon 2020 to both initiatives—but the management structures, in particular of the Human Brain Project, have come under fire.
