An initiative aiming to foster cooperation on innovation and encourage mobility between the EU and six post-Soviet states was launched yesterday in Yerevan, Armenia.
The EU’s commissioner for research and innovation, Carlos Moedas, and its commissioner for European neighbourhood relations, Johannes Hahn, presided over the EU4Innovation launch in Yerevan, Armenia, on Thursday.
EU4Innovation brings together Horizon 2020 projects and other EU-funded initiatives that support innovation capacity-building in the post-Soviet states of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine, known as the Eastern Partnership countries (EaP).
