Europe’s Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) has launched a policy tool to help universities achieve better gender equality among researchers.
The Gender Equality in Academia and Research (Gear) tool is an online application that contains best practices and guidelines for university leaders and research institutions. It is intended to increase the number of women in science and to support female researchers vying for top academic positions.
