Views on joint programming for research on metrology, the science of measurements, are being sought by the European Commission.
A public consultation on the €400-million European Metrology Research Programme (EMPR) and its successor, the €600-million European Metrology Research Programme for Innovation and Research (EMPIR), was launched by the Commission on 1 July.
The consultation is seeking input on “the state of play” of European metrology research and how the joint programmes, which seek to pool and coordinate national research efforts. It closes on 7 October.
