The Horizon 2020 SME Instrument for small and medium-sized enterprises has awarded €8.9 million to 184 more businesses in its latest funding round.
A total of 178 projects received €50,000 each, the European Commission announced yesterday, with a handful of projects involving more than one business.
Italian businesses did particularly well, with 37 Italian SMEs receiving funding. Close behind were Spanish businesses, of which 33 received funds.
