€178m offered in new EU call

Funding available for research on migration, setting up innovation centres and public administration

The European Commission has opened a call for “projects addressing societal challenges”, offering a total of €178 million for projects in 24 topic areas spanning migration, disruptive technologies and public governance.

Under the overarching theme of migration, €29 million is available for four specific topics. These include €9 million for researching the integration of migrants into local communities, and another €9m for “mapping and overcoming integration challenges for migrant children”.
