Groups divided over giving European Institute of Innovation and Technology €420 million for entrepreneurship projects

The Young European Research Universities group has backed the proposal to give the European Institute of Innovation and Technology an extra €420 million to support entrepreneurship projects, which was blasted by another university group earlier in November.

Yerun is in favour of the proposal from the European Commission, which would devote about 14 per cent of the EIT’s planned €3-billion 2021-27 budget “for the development of entrepreneurial and innovation capacity of higher education institutions and their integration in innovation ecosystems”.
