Final chance for say on plan for Horizon Europe

Views sought on latest plans, including partnerships on antimicrobial resistance, geological services and smart cities

The European Commission has put out a last call for input on its “strategic orientations” for the first four years of the EU’s 2021-27 R&D programme, Horizon Europe.

A revised orientations document incorporating feedback from more than 6,000 responses to an initial online consultation was published on 31 October. The revision contains information on how the Commission expects Horizon Europe to contribute to the six priorities of its incoming president, Ursula von der Leyen, in areas such as climate change and security.
