EU’s R&D chief emphasises ‘no cuts’ have been made yet

The Commission’s top R&D official has sought to allay concerns about the budget for the EU’s next research programme, amid fears of swinging cuts.

“No cuts are made yet…so I don’t want to anticipate that,” Jean-Eric Paquet told a meeting of the European Parliament’s research committee.
