Member states are being consulted on potential funding partnerships for the EU’s next R&D programme, which are a mixture of established collaborations and new proposals.
The European Commission launched a member state consultation on public-public and public-private funding partnerships for the 2021-27 Horizon Europe programme earlier this month, presenting a preliminary list of candidate partnerships for governments to consider and comment on.
Proposals listed as having no predecessor initiatives included “competitive space systems”, battery industry value chains and sustainable farming systems.
