Christian Ehler says European Parliament has concerns about UK association to EU R&D programme
Christian Ehler, one of two lead MEPs for the EU’s 2021-27 R&D programme, Horizon Europe, has warned UK representatives the country could face exclusion from parts of the programme in response to the UK government passing legislation it admitted could breach the Brexit withdrawal agreement.
“Breaking international agreements with the union makes us wonder if we should not exclude the UK of all this,” Ehler told Research Professional News, referring to the European Parliament.
