‘More opportunities’ for EU-India R&D ties

    

Top non-European participant in Marie Curie scheme could boost involvement further, Commission says

The EU and India have “more opportunities” to increase their collaboration on research and innovation given “the increasing political importance attached to India” by the bloc, the European Commission has said.

Such opportunities were discussed on 12 February at the 13th meeting of the EU-India Joint Science and Technology Steering Committee, according to the Commission. It said the two sides discussed possible cooperation on areas including ICT, the circular economy and sustainable food.
