Monitoring framework proposed for Horizon Europe partnerships

         

Investments and international involvement among expert group’s suggestions for judging EU-funded initiatives

A European Commission expert group has drawn up yardsticks that could be used to evaluate the multi-billion-euro public-public and public-private partnerships that are to be funded by the EU’s R&D programme, Horizon Europe.

In an interim report published on 21 June, the group, chaired by Maria Chiara Carrozza, the president of Italy’s National Research Council, suggested 11 indicators for all partnerships and guidelines for writing partnership-specific measures.
