Meeting of European Economic Area committee expected to approve association to EU R&D programme

Norway and Iceland—which are both members of the European Economic Area—are set to formally associate to the EU’s €95.5 billion R&D programme, Horizon Europe, in September.

A Norwegian official told Research Professional News that Norway has done everything it needs to do to secure association, which provides the fullest possible access to the programme for non-EU countries in exchange for a budget contribution.
