EU allocates €85m to ‘New Bauhaus’ environment initiative

   

Activities to include high-level expert workshop on R&D and Horizon Europe calls

The European Commission has set aside €85 million in 2021-22 EU funding for its New European Bauhaus initiative, which aims to boost sustainable innovation and the circular economy.

Funding will come from sources including the Horizon Europe R&D programme, and “notably” from its challenge-based missions, the Commission said on 15 September.
