Only 946 consortia submitted proposals for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions doctoral networks in 2022

The number of research groups applying to run major EU doctoral training networks has dropped to a 10-year low.

Only 946 proposals were submitted for the 2022 round of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Networks Scheme, which funds consortia of universities, research institutions, businesses and other bodies to offer doctoral training.
