Extra €500 million should be devoted to green design scheme, according to European Parliament
MEPs have called for €500 million of “fresh money” from the EU’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme to go to the bloc’s New European Bauhaus green design initiative.
In a set of requests adopted on 14 September, MEPs said they “regret” the lack of clarity around funding for the Bauhaus initiative—which aims to find sustainable solutions to improve people’s ways of life by bringing together architecture, innovation, science and design.
