Officials celebrate early success in winning EU funding, while Horizon deal awaits ratification

New Zealand is “just cracking on” with participating in Horizon Europe, despite MEPs holding out on giving their consent to the political agreement that gives the country access to the EU’s research and innovation programme.

“We’re not too concerned about it,” Iain Cossar, a senior official in New Zealand’s Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, told Research Europe.
