Marie Curie alumni seek changes to EU funding scheme

Research age should be scrapped and working conditions improved, MSCA alumni say

Alumni of the EU’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions scheme for doctoral and postdoctoral training have called for numerous changes to the programme.

In a set of recommendations published on 25 April, the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) said the MSCA scheme should scrap its “research age” limit for postdoctoral fellowships, improve researchers’ working conditions and expand its Ukraine programme.
